▍ ❝   I. pre-ARR - her hell starts here
Born on the Steppe, Odeline arrived in Coerthas when she was 8, when her parents took her across the sea looking for a better life. Her parents were slain by Ishgardian knights, before she and the only other survivor, Sidurgu Orl, were saved by Ser Ompagne. Not wanting to walk the path of a Dark Knight, she was given to the only orphanage who would take an Au Ra.
     Was adopted at 14 by a perverse priest of Ishgard who intended to make her his "dravanian bride." At 19, her father was convicted of heresy by the First Inquisitor, Charibert, and her mother convicted alongside him. Odeline being revealed as an Au Ra, and whether or not she, too, should be convicted of heresy, created a scandal in Ishgard. Though she won her trial by combat, the city was ready to be rid of her.

▍ ❝   II. ARR - god complex
Driven from Ishgard at 23, she finds herself in the forests of Gridania, and finds herself embroiled in the Scions' dilema.
     Killing gods, ending wars gives her a low key god complex.

▍ ❝   III. StB - sun setter
Yotsuyu sees a girl with a similar past of ostracization to her, and asks if she's tired of being nice. Odeline pretends not to know what she means.
     Zenos, whose job it seems is to make women worse, takes her eye in a gambit to make her care in a way he wants. She loses it, and something intrinsic changes within her. She kills Zenos and ends two fronts of a war. Wars end with her, gods die with her, the sun sets with her.

▍ ❝   IV. HW
Odeline strides into Ishgard, her god complex in full bloom, ready to free herr homeland from the shackles of war. She finds unexpected companionship in the Heavens' Ward - perhaps the first she views as actual people and not sheep to be shepherded.
     Everything falls apart when Thordan tempers the Ward into his Knights of the Round and declares himself god-king. After all, there is only one capable of proclaiming themselves god-king, and it is not him. She lashes out, killing 5 of the Ward as some proxy-revenge for not being the one to kill her father. The last she kills, Haumeric, brings her back to reality, and she takes it upon herself to save the 7 who yet live, linking their aether to hers, and becoming their "archbishop"/god-king.

Odeline, wearing Hraesvelgr's eyes to provide enough aether to her knights, is pulled into the First alongside her stalwart - tempered - knights. She gets to be the princess she always wanted to be, attended to by her knights in shining armor.

▍ ❝   SISTER OF THE CHURCH.
As an acolyte of the Ishgardian church, Odeline would be known by any Ishgardian, and most who would attend service in Ishgard. Though the church she attends is a small one in the Brume, her position allows her to congregate in the lower levels of the Vault.
     To become an acolyte, she also studied at Saint Endalim's Scholasticate, graduating at 20, approximately 2 years after the Calamity. So devout in her studies was she that she might've graduated as part of the Trinity had it not been for her scandal.

▍ ❝   SCANDAL IN ISHGARD.
The scandal that occured when she was 19 was a landmark trial in which it was debated whether or not a child could be tried for their parents' sins - especially if they did not share blood. While the proceedings eventually escalated to a trial by combat, Odeline proved her innocence by besting the First Inquisitor.
     Most of Ishgard's population would have heard of her.

▍ ❝   UNWANTED ASTROLOGIAN.
Odeline discovered a prodigious talent for astrology while studying at the Scholasticate. She studies at the Athenaeum Astrologicum, and then when unveiled after her trial, she spends her time bumping elbows with Jannequinard, and becomes a student of Sharlyan Astrology.
     Ishgard sends her out and about to dangerous locales with the excuse of mapping the Dragon Star more decisively, while hoping she perishes. Adventurers or other outdoorsy types might have crossed paths with her.
